Montgomery County Busted Mugshots is privately owned and is not affiliated with a government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither the site nor its advertising partners offers consumer-reporting, investigative, credit, employment, insurance, or tenant-screening services. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA.
Purpose of the Service
The site is a private reference resource. It identifies possible official paths for Montgomery County, Mississippi custody, booking, court, and public-records information, plus selected outside research tools. It does not hold official records, confirm a person’s custody status, release a person, post bond, file documents, or speak for any public office.
The sheriff and a confirmed receiving facility remain the source for a current local custody question. A court, MDOC, or federal office may instead control information after a case or person moves into another system.
Permitted Use
Use the site lawfully and with respect for other people’s privacy and safety. The following conduct is prohibited.
- Using the site in violation of any law or regulation
- Stalking, threatening, harassing, or impersonating another person
- Seeking to break into, probe, or bypass a system or account
- Running automated scraping, data-mining, or disruptive traffic without written permission
- Interfering with access by other visitors or with the site’s operation
FCRA-Prohibited Uses
The site is not a consumer reporting agency, and neither its content nor a partner’s result is a consumer report, credit report, or investigative report. Visitors agree not to use information obtained here or through an advertised partner for any purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- Employment or hiring decisions
- Tenant or housing screening
- Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance-pricing decisions
- Licensing, permit, or government-benefit eligibility decisions
- Any other use covered by the FCRA or similar law
Links and Outside Services
The site may link to sheriff, court, corrections, government, legal-information, and third-party search services. An external link is offered for convenience, not as an endorsement. The operator has no control over an outside service’s content, uptime, data practices, results, fees, or terms. Review those terms before using the service.
No Warranty
The site is supplied on an “as is” and “as available” basis. No warranty is made that its content or a linked source will be complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted, free of errors or vulnerabilities, or exhaustive. Custody status and public records can change without notice, and no page is an official statement by a sheriff, court, jail, or other government office.
Limit of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site operator and its providers are not liable for damages arising from access to, reliance on, inability to use, or use of this site or a linked service. That limitation applies whether the asserted claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, or another theory.
Indemnification
A visitor agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the site operator and its providers from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from that visitor’s use of the site, violation of these terms, or violation of another person’s rights.
Ownership of Materials
Unless an outside source says otherwise, the site’s original text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to Montgomery County Busted Mugshots or its content partners. They may not be copied, distributed, modified, or used commercially without prior written permission, except where law permits.
Changes to These Terms
The operator may update these terms at any time. Updated terms apply when they are posted on this page. Continued access after posting means the visitor accepts the revised terms.
Access Restrictions
Access may be limited, suspended, or terminated at any time, with or without notice, when the operator determines that a user has violated these terms, created risk, disrupted the service, or for another lawful reason.
Mississippi Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction within Mississippi, unless applicable law requires another venue.
Severability
If a court finds any provision unenforceable, that provision will be modified only as necessary or separated from the terms. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Questions
Questions about these terms may be sent through the Get in Touch page. It cannot answer a government-record, court, or custody question.
